The Great Escape (1963)

The first War escape Classic I've posted here on my personal favorites. As the title says Great escape. This movie will activate your adrenaline. If not. Somehow. :D

Great story, activates tension, and good delivery by the cast. My Uncle own this at VHS. Until now I haven't return it yet. c: Good thing as of 2010 VHS became prehistoric.

As the tagline posted by time mag.

"SIMPLY GREAT ESCAPISM"

With the tagline. It felt that I no longer need to add more personal views on this  film.

I`m remember this film every time my friends son comes to our house and pleads to watch "CARS"

Steve McQueen.

  • The movie is purely fulfilling.

Here`s a little summary:

"Based on a true story, a group of allied escape artist type prisoners of war [POW] are all put in an allegedly impenetrable Nazi prison camp during World War II. Their leader decides to try take out several hundred all at once. The first half of the film is played for humor as the prisoners mostly outwit their jailers to dig the escape tunnel. The second half is high adventure as they use boats and trains and planes to get out of occupied Europe."
